Andrea Zajacová
My journey in the field of lung transplantation is dated back to 2017 - as a med student I started to participate in clinical research focused on chronic lung allograft dysfunction in Prague Lung Transplant Program. After graduation, I started to work as a resident in the Pneumology Department in 2020, followed by becoming a PhD Fellow in 2021. My dedication to the field of lung transplantation might be assessed by involvement in numerous international studies, as well as presentations of scientific results at multiple international congresses. This year I was awarded a prestigious clinical fellowship by both European Respiratory Society and European Society for Organ Transplantation to further enhance my career in the field of lung transplantation.

Rozárie Haškovcová
My name is Rozárie Haškovcová and I am a greenfluencer and an environmental activist. My passion for „saving the planet“ comes from a very young age when I first discovered the impacts human behaviour has on the planet. When I was 7 years old, I kept getting angry at my classmates for littering our local forrest near our school. However, as any other teenager, I underwent the era of catching the latest fashion trends and daily bubble teas in plastic cups. When I was 15 years old, I first came in touch with politics at a Model United Nations conference where I got to represent Bolivia in the question of deforestation. Ever since that, my interest in environmental politics has shaped my life and I ended up studying political science. Today, I explain the complex issues of environmental protection and policy making to the broad public through social media and social events to make protecting the environment “sexy”.

Kateřina Štěpánková
Katerina is a budding neuroscientist who spends her coffee breaks trying to cure spinal injuries. Her scientific journey began when she was about 3 years old, spending time in the lab with her mum. During high school, she changed her mind several times about what she wanted to do with her life and ended up studying at the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague, where she graduated with a master's degree in physiology. She is currently a postgraduate student at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University. In her spare time, she scrolls through the Skyscanner app and unexpectedly buys plane tickets to random places. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, avoids over-planning and always hopes that life will take her where she belongs.
